"Not Everything Heals"

After a five-day artistic residency on the stage of the Auditorium, Sara Badalo and Léo Vrillaud present, in absolute premiere, a show that develops a musical component that dialogues with the performance of Catarina Costa, the audiovisual creation and VJ, and the materials resulting from the collection of intangible cultural heritage in Fuzeta.

Since August, Sara Badalo and a team of audiovisual creators have been undertaking an intensive process of community listening, gathering interviews, stories, dialogues, expressions, songs, images, recordings and memories from those living in the Fuzeta territory. It is from these materials that this multidisciplinary show is constructed - a universe that transcends the album format and expands into body, image, stage space and live experience.

The fieldwork in Fuzeta and the artistic residency and show in Olhão are the origins of Not Everything Heals, Sara Badalo's first solo album, to be released in 2027. From this living archive, the project seeks to establish a relationship between collective memory and contemporary artistic language, where tradition, experimentation and authorial creation mutually contaminate each other.
