Máximo (Coimbra, 2003) began his journey at the National Conservatory of Lisbon at the age of seven, where he completed secondary education in Piano and Composition. He recently graduated in Jazz Composition from Codarts Rotterdam, in the Netherlands. After a highly successful debut album titled MAXIMUM – Greatest Hits, praised by the Portuguese press, the composer and pianist released PANGEA, a metaphor for the need for a unified and truly collective society, free from individual eco-anxiety in the fight against the climate crisis.

In recent years, his portfolio has grown: soundtracks for cinema, an official theme for ModaLisboa, and a performance in a fashion show, concerts in art galleries (national and international), as well as performances that combine contemporary dance and poetry (Obscuro Domínio, RTP2). Meanwhile, he also released Residência, an exploration of trap and electronics with baroque ornaments and fully deconstructed voices, recorded in six days in collaboration with Plástico. A few months later, he released PANGEA, an album whose final track (of the same title) was chosen as the official theme of the Pavilion of Portugal at EXPO 2025 Osaka, where he also performed.
