Marta Lima presents “High Tide,” the first preview of her highly anticipated debut album.

One of the emerging voices of new Portuguese music, Marta Lima has been building a solid and consistent path, marked by a growing connection to the audience, deeply intimate writing, and a sensitive musical aesthetic. Now, she begins a new chapter in her career with a theme that dives into the most vulnerable and human emotions.

“High Tide” arises from a period of deep personal reflection, where the artist confronted constant doubts about her own worth and identity, in a silent struggle with impostor syndrome. The song emerges as an attempt to reorganize emotions and find balance amid inner chaos, living precisely in that contrast between the weight of doubt and the search for lightness.

The sea takes on a central, almost symbolic role here. Born in the Algarve, Marta Lima brings to the song the deep relationship she has always had with the sea, a place of refuge, pause, and reconnection with herself.

“High Tide” is the balance between these two states: going deep and returning to the surface. Between restlessness and the constant attempt to reconnect.

This new single is authored by Marta Lima, with production by the artist herself, musician Afonso Lima, and Manuel dos Reis (also co-producer of Manel Cruz's album Vida Nova) and mastering by Vitor Carraca Teixeira.

With an engaging stage presence and an increasingly defined artistic identity, Marta Lima continues to assert herself as one of the most promising voices of the new generation of singer-songwriters in Portugal. The debut album is scheduled for release in early 2027.
