Sweet Potato March Run

Organised by: Quarteira Parish Council, in partnership with Loulé Council, as part of the Regional March and Run Calendar of the Portuguese Institute of Sport and Youth (IPDJ).
Praça do Mar in Quarteira will once again be the starting point for another edition of the Sweet Potato March Run, taking place on 4 October.
With two routes available, 5 and 10 kilometres, the event invites participants of all ages to engage in physical activity while exploring different landscapes of the parish, combining sport, socialising, and tradition.
The programme begins with a warm-up at 09:30, with the start scheduled for 10:00. At the end, one of the traditions of the event will continue, with roasted sweet potatoes being distributed to participants.
Registration is free but mandatory and is already open, available in person at the Quarteira Parish Council or through the form on the website (www.jf-quarteira.pt).
