“Everything I Never Told You, My Love”
João Mota is from Albufeira, in the Algarve. He holds a degree in Psychology and Business Management. He has been working as an actor since 2014 and is currently completing his master's degree in Clinical and Counselling Psychology.
He has been writing poetry since the age of 12, finding in words a space for reflection and expression.
In 2023, he founded the Poetry Club at the Autonomous University of Lisbon, initiating a series of creative writing and artistic expression meetings across the country.
His work intersects art and psychology, creating spaces for listening where emotional experiences can take form and voice. “Everything I Never Told You, My Love”, published by Contraponto, is his first book.
