InDireita Street Fest Returns to the Heart of the City in Early October

The big news for this edition is that on 3rd and 4th October, the urban festival will promote a Stock Out from various shops, thus associating itself with the Portimão City Centre Commerce project.

Participating commercial establishments will present end-of-collection items at special prices, aiming to promote local commerce and energise the city centre throughout the weekend.

The City Centre Commerce is Portimão's Digital Commercial District, a project promoted by the Portimão Municipality and funded by the Recovery and Resilience Plan (PRR), which supports the digitalisation and revitalisation of traditional commerce in the city centre. In this edition, the project collaborates with the InDireita Street Fest to promote the festival and the Stock Out through its digital channels and website.

On Sunday, 4th October, Rua Direita will once again transform into a space dedicated to music, art, community engagement, and participation. The programme includes concerts, street performances, workshops, circus shows, children's games, community activities, live art, a food area, and a crafts market.

This edition also highlights workshops and circus performances designed for different ages, as well as a collective action for planting plant species on Rua Direita. The initiative invites residents and visitors to directly participate in beautifying and creating a greener city, contributing to a lasting benefit in public space.

The musical programme features artists and bands with various styles and influences. The lineup includes performances by Bruna Marino and Tabea, and on the main stage, the projects MUD, Naomi Falcon and the Dub Collective, as well as Tiago Saga and The Band Rehearsal, and The Backpockets and MB2, a group coming directly from Brazil for this festival.

Throughout the day, the public can also participate in traditional children's and community games, enjoy moments of live art, discover proposals from artisans and producers, and indulge in the culinary offerings.

All activities are free, reinforcing the inclusive and family-friendly nature of the InDireita Street Fest.
