II Municipal Conference: “Mental Health Throughout the Life Cycle”

The meeting features specialists from various fields, including Graça Freitas, a Public Health specialist, who will participate in a panel discussion on the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic on the mental health of the population.
The conference also brings together professionals and experts from various institutions, including the University of Algarve, through the Centre for Research in Tourism, Sustainability and Well-Being, the University of Coimbra, through CINEICC – Centre for Research in Neuropsychology and Cognitive-Behavioural Intervention and the Faculty of Psychology and Educational Sciences, ULS Algarve, including the Psychiatry Service and the Community Mental Health Team from Alcoutim, Castro Marim, Tavira, and Vila Real de Santo António, the Portuguese Psychologists Association – Southern Regional Delegation, and ICAD, through GAJE – Youth and Involvement Support Office.
The programme also includes GASMI – Group for the Support of Children's Mental Health, NEIP, the Els for Autism Foundation, the Kokua Association – Social Assistance Dogs, the Vila Real de Santo António School Group, the Residential Structure and Day Centre «José Cabrita – Alzheimer and Dementias», the Santa Casa da Misericórdia de Castro Marim, the Algarve Regional Coordination and Development Commission (CCDR Algarve), as well as the Municipal Health Office and the Vila Real de Santo António Council.
