Granfondo Portimão

The Granfondo Portimão returns for its third edition on November 8, promising a day dedicated to cycling, sport, and camaraderie in one of the Algarve's most stunning settings.

Starting and finishing in Portimão, the event will once again gather national and international cyclists, offering an experience that combines physical challenge with the discovery of the landscapes and natural heritage of the municipalities of Portimão, Silves, Monchique, and Lagos.

The 2026 edition features three routes, tailored to different levels of preparation and experience:

Granfondo: 139 km | Mediofondo: 100 km | Minifondo: 67.5 km

“Granfondinho” - The Little Ones Pedal Too!

The Granfondinho is an activity dedicated to children aged 3 to 12, taking place on November 7, aimed at encouraging early engagement with cycling, promoting physical activity, teamwork, collaboration, and healthy lifestyle habits.

In a fun and educational environment, children will have the opportunity to develop motor and social skills, reinforcing values such as respect, trust, and perseverance.

Each child should bring their bicycle and helmet. The organisation will provide balance bikes for loan to children up to 5 years old.

Walk - An Experience for Everyone

To allow companions of cyclists and anyone interested to join in the event's energy, the Granfondo Portimão includes a walk that invites participants to discover the landscapes and natural and historical charms of Portimão.

Designed for different ages and fitness levels, this activity provides an opportunity to enjoy a day outdoors in a friendly atmosphere and in contact with nature.
