Training: “Reading and Adolescence: a Fantastic Binomial?” by Paula Cusati 27 October | Tuesday | from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM and from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM Is it possible today to combine the verb to read with adolescence? We will start by analysing the concepts of “promotion and mediation of reading” and “adolescence” to reflect on our personal and professional experiences. We will examine concrete issues such as the profile of the mediator, the previous experiences of the reader(s), the space, the collection, and the strategies for promoting and mediating books and reading. Going beyond isolated actions, we will see how to create ongoing projects with young audiences, so that literature can serve as a springboard for critical thinking, reflection, and a wide and fascinating horizon.
