Festas da Guia in Honour of Our Lady of Guia and St. Louis

A Guia celebrates its traditional festivities on 29 and 30 August, featuring a programme that combines religious celebrations with musical and gastronomic entertainment. At the Polidesportivo da Guia, from 7pm, there will be food stalls, traditional sweets, and concerts by Emanuel & Tânia and Bonga on 29 August, followed by Humberto Silva and Ruth Marlene on 30 August. The festivities conclude with a fireworks display.
The religious programme includes a Mass and Candlelight Procession at 8:30pm on 29 August at the Chapel of Our Lady of Guia, and a Solemn Mass and Procession at 6pm on 30 August, departing from the Main Church with a sermon at the Chapel of Our Lady of Guia.
