From July 9 to July 12, the area surrounding the Eng.º Duarte Pacheco Monument in Loulé will once again host the traditional Popular Fair, one of the most cherished events by the local community and visitors seeking to discover the authenticity of Algarve traditions.
Over four days, the initiative brings together producers, artisans, associations, and exhibitors in a festive atmosphere where the Flavors and Knowledge of the region take center stage. Traditional cuisine, typical sweets, local products, and demonstrations of handicrafts provide a true journey through the cultural roots of the municipality.
The Arts and Traditions component continues to be one of the hallmarks of the Popular Fair, featuring artisans who keep ancestral crafts alive and moments of entertainment that evoke customs and cultural expressions that are part of Loulé's identity.
One of the highlights of this edition will be the performance by José Cid, an essential name in Portuguese music and author of some of the most significant songs of recent decades.
