This 3-day event, inspired by the music and culture of the Grateful Dead, welcomes attendees and artists from around the world. It's the first of its kind, put on by local Lagos Deadheads as a way to showcase original rock and jam artists here in Lagos (like Los Pissarros and FrancGuitarO & The MachinE) as well as familiar favorites of the music we love with the headlining band each night being Grateful Nights from Barcelona.
Day 1 (September 10) is focused on getting to know each other and Lagos with beachside yoga, cocktail hour at local establishments, a catamaran cruise along the Algarve coast, and an after party where we mingle and meet the bands.
Day 2-3 (September 11 & 12) will feature music from 1pm-9pm at Wake Park Lagos.
September 11th kicks off with the debut performance from STiZL followed by international act Barko Waltz and the local band that's taking over the Algarve: Los Pissarros. The evening of music ends with Grateful Nights from Barcelona before moving on to the after party near Old Town Lagos.
September 12th brings even more artists to showcase with STiZL once again setting the tone of the day, followed by Slim Jim, local rocker Franc GuitarO & The MachinE, Ceclília & William of the Pissarro Duo, and Grateful Nights once again.
Throughout our time in Wake Park, we'll have local artisans with homemade artworks for sale, themed menu items, lots of dancing, and good vibes only.
This isn't just a music event: it's a cultural event that celebrates a band that has brought love and light to people of all backgrounds. Already, people are coming from across Portugal, Germany, Spain, Italy, the UK, France, Switzerland, Austria, the US, Canada, Singapore, Australia, India, and more. This is about bringing people together through music and art in a way that Deadheads have done for more than half a century.
In an effort to encourage more local attendance, we are releasing a limited number of single-day tickets for sale on July 1, 2026.
