A Casa da Paragem hosts this solo exhibition by Alison Moretti, an artist residing in Barão de São João. Born in England, Alison graduated in Art, Drawing, and Photography in London, having started her professional journey in the vibrant London West End, where she worked in Visual Merchandising. In 1993, she chose Portugal as her home, initially dedicating herself to painting large-format advertising posters and later, in 2020, specializing in realistic portraits of pets. Throughout her journey, photography has always been present, in an organic transition between the magic of the darkroom and the precision of digital. Currently, her work focuses on creating surrealist paintings and painted stained glass, challenging the audience's gaze through color, light, and imagination. A unique opportunity to get to know the creative universe of this local artist.
