A series of activities focused on books, reading, and literacy for preschool and primary school children.
Book exchange fair, meetings with authors, storytelling sessions, illustration and creativity workshops, family space, transmedia experiences, and plenty of entertainment over three days.
Story Knot – Oral storytelling with: Maria José Mackaaij (Manuel Viegas Guerreiro Foundation), Ana Arnedo (BM de Faro), Sílvia Barrocal (BE de Salir), and the (In)Sustentável Theatre Group.
Reading Knot – Meeting with author Joana Maurício;
Transmedia Knot - Creation and development of stories using LEGO, complemented by immersive experiences in Virtual Reality with Vítor Gonçalves;
Illustration Knot – Illustration activities with Ana Paula Guerreiro and Sandra Viegas.
Surprise Knot – “If I were…”, led by the Volunteer Firefighters, Associação In Loco, and Santa Casa da Misericórdia.
Sensory Knot – Sensory experiences with Dora Barradas.
