Fernando Mota created a new instrument called Hárvore, made from an oak tree cut down in the Serra de Montemuro in February 2020. During quarantine, this small tree transformed into an instrument, with strings stretched between the branches and bells instead of flowers. It is played with hands, chopsticks, a violin bow, a powerball, a slide, stones, and logs.

The Gymnasium Encounters – Showcase of Performing Arts for Young Audiences returns for its 2nd edition with a multidisciplinary programme aimed at schools and the community. Featuring dance, theatre, performance, music, film sessions, workshops, and discussions, it proposes a space for the intersection of education and artistic creation, continuing the work developed by the Gymnasium project throughout the year in schools. Bringing together proposals from different languages and sensibilities, it culminates in a Saturday dedicated to families, with shows, workshops, and a community lunch.
