This workshop is dedicated to the manual production of Adobe, a sun-dried earth brick, a traditional construction technique in Portuguese popular architecture and widely used in Natural Building.
Date of activity: Saturday, 7 November 2026 Time: 10:00 - 17:00 (approximately 1 hour break for lunch) Location: Coicas, Paderne Recommended age: 15 to 70
About the activity: In this workshop, participants will learn to analyse the earth and adapt it for use in Adobe construction. They will learn to shape the Adobe and will also be shown the drying process.
