Book in focus: THE CURIOUS INCIDENT OF THE DOG IN THE NIGHT-TIME, by Mark Haddon Christopher Boone, the narrator of this remarkable novel, is just 15 years old and has autism. He excels in mathematics and science, loves Sherlock Holmes, but struggles to understand human nature; he has a photographic memory, dislikes yellow and brown, and does not like to be touched by anyone. Christopher has never ventured further than the end of his street until he finds his neighbour's dog dead in the garden, with a fork stuck in it. This crime will set him on a long odyssey that helps him discover his true place in the world.

Free parking - The Cultural Centre of Lagos and the Municipal Library of Lagos offer free parking at the Ribeirinha Front Park (Avenida dos Descobrimentos) for attendees of their shows/events. To receive this discount, users must present a stamp obtained at the ticket office of the Cultural Centre of Lagos or the entrance of the Municipal Library of Lagos. The offer applies only one hour before and one hour after each show/event.
