Cristina Branco | Cineteatro Louletano

In 2027, Cristina Branco will celebrate 30 years of artistic life with a unique show revisiting the trilogy formed by Menina (2016), Branco (2018), and Eva (2020). Recognised as Album of the Year by the SPA, Menina marked a turning point in Cristina Branco's career, merging fado with new languages and bringing together authors and musicians from diverse backgrounds. Branco deepened this dialogue, affirming an open, plural, and restless musical identity. Eva concluded the trilogy with a more intimate and authorial approach, functioning almost as the diary of the character Eva Houssman, a Danish photographer, revolving around the question: “what does freedom mean to me?” In this trilogy, Cristina Branco performs lyrics and music by authors such as Sérgio Godinho, António Lobo Antunes, Jorge Cruz, André Henriques, Kalaf Epalanga, Filho da Mãe, Nuno Prata, Peixe, Pedro da Silva Martins, Filipe Sambado, Márcia, Sara Tavares, Beatriz Pessoa, and Mário Laginha. On stage, she is accompanied by Bernardo Couto (Portuguese guitar), Bernardo Moreira (double bass), and Luís Figueiredo (piano).
