Youth Creativity - Create, Learn, Share, Inspire!

Running from 7 September 2026 to 17 April 2027, the Youth Creativity project is one of the four winners of the second edition of the Participatory Budgeting for Youth (OPJ) of Portimão 2025-26.

Presented by Lígia Fernandes, a 17-year-old student, the Youth Creativity project promotes a series of nine activities (one per month) that will take place at Lugar do Rio - Espaço Jovem Portimão, in the Fair and Exhibition Park.

At the heart of this project is the creation of a space dedicated to practical and creative experiences, allowing young people aged 12 to 30 the opportunity to learn arts and crafts in various areas.

Linocut (workshop from 7 to 11 September) is the first art to be explored, with upcoming activities including a sewing workshop (10 October), a biscuit workshop (21 October), a macramé workshop (28 November), a scented plaster workshop (12 December), creative sewing (16 January), fabric painting (20 February), amigurumi (13 March), and UV resin (17 April).
