“Body of the Body” is the inaugural creation of AL JUVENIL – Youth Contemporary Dance Company of the Algarve, an initiative promoted by AORCA – Association for Observation, Regeneration, and Creation in the Present. The project aims to provide training, artistic creation, and professional circulation experiences to young people aged 16 to 25, either born or residing in the Algarve, enhancing their artistic growth and integration into the region's cultural sector.

The project was the winner of the “Creation Structures Show Grant” - 2025, an initiative of the Blue Network – Algarve Theaters Network. The show consolidates itself as a fundamental project for the future of youth artistic creation in the Algarve, promoting inclusion, cultural renewal, and territorial sustainability.

Free parking - The Cultural Center of Lagos and the Municipal Library of Lagos offer free parking at the waterfront park (Avenida dos Descobrimentos) for the audience of their shows/events. To receive this discount, users must present, at the park's reception, a stamp obtained at the ticket office of the Cultural Center of Lagos or the entrance of the Municipal Library of Lagos. The offer applies only one hour before and up to one hour after each show/event.
