Each initiative requires a minimum number of participants. If this is not met, the activity may be cancelled.
The conference proposes a reflection on the impacts of Artificial Intelligence (AI) on contemporary society, starting from the new encyclical by Pope Leo XIV, Magnifica Humanitas. The debate will address how technological development must respect the dignity of each person, warning against the risks of reducing humans to mere digital data. Among the main ethical challenges will also be the future of work, job protection, and the need to avoid military use or use driven solely by individual interests of Artificial Intelligence.
In this context, a technological leadership capable of combating inequalities and monopolies will be advocated, placing progress at the service of the common good, rather than subordinating it to greed and economic interests. The conference will bring together citizens and experts in a debate focused on concrete solutions, seeking to reflect on how to ensure that technology and Artificial Intelligence remain at the service of people and society.
