L.A.R Alternative Rock Faro

L.a.r. started as an instrumental project motivated by the expression of three introverts: Gonçalo Santos (Guitar), Sofia Shramko (Bass), and Tomé Cabrita (Drums/Percussion). United by this need, they decided to stop performing for the walls of the rehearsal room, and after their first concert, Miriam Evaristo (Vocals) joined the lineup, solidifying the sound of L.a.r. With only a short time together, an opportunity arose with the Kimahera label, leading to the birth of their single, “Waltz”. L.a.r. promises to continue to explode musically until the inevitable thermal death of the universe, exploring everything that comes to their minds.

With firm roots in Portimão, RAPOSA brings an intense and emotional sound to alternative rock, where electrifying guitars intertwine with soft and introspective melodies. Echoing shoegaze, new wave, and dream pop, the band blends nostalgic influences from the 80s and 90s with a subtle touch of psychedelia, creating a sonic journey that awakens memories and invites contemplation.
