Screening of the documentary: GRIZZLY MAN
Synopsis: In nature, there are also boundaries. In this unforgettable film, acclaimed director Werner Herzog explores the life and death of Timothy Treadwell, an amateur naturalist and wildlife preservation advocate, and his passion for Alaskan grizzly bears. For thirteen summers, Treadwell observed and studied their behaviour, capturing all his experiences on film.
In October 2003, his remains and those of his companion Amie Huguenard were found at their campsite in Katmai National Park, Alaska. They had been killed and eaten by a grizzly bear, becoming the first victims of a bear attack in the park.
In "Grizzly Man", Herzog guides us through the mysteries of wildlife and the complexities of human nature.
