The Ballet Flamenco de Barcelona presents a bold and contemporary interpretation of "Carmen", the iconic myth by Bizet, which goes beyond the traditional narrative to explore the current struggle for women's rights.
In this version, Carmen, a strong and passionate gypsy, faces an unequal world, becoming a symbol of freedom and courage. Her romantic relationship with the bullfighter Escamillo shapes an intense story, expressed through stunning flamenco choreography, combined with explosive tap dance and elements of contemporary dance.
