Caribe Libre blends Latin music and Jazz in a journey through the Afro-Caribbean rhythms that gave rise to Latin Jazz.
With Raul Reyes on vocals, Osvaldo Pegudo on percussion, and the Algarve Jazz Orchestra on stage, the concert starts with Manteca, an emblematic theme by Dizzy Gillespie, and traverses classics like Bilongo, Contigo en la Distancia, and Mambo Nº 5.
Between mambo, bolero, and chachachá, the repertoire celebrates the energy, memory, and flavor of the Caribbean. A vibrant celebration of musical freedom.
