The book constitutes a deep historical analysis of the presence and influence of the Templars in the Algarve region, exploring the signs of the past that remain in the landscape and collective memory of the region. João Carlos Horta Correia is a researcher dedicated to Portuguese regional history, with a special focus on the social, political, and religious dynamics of medieval Portugal in the local context of the Algarve.

Free parking - The Cultural Center of Lagos and the Municipal Library of Lagos offer free parking in the waterfront park (Avenida dos Descobrimentos) for the audience of their shows/events.
