The Câmara Municipal de Lagos has accepted the challenge from writer and multifaceted entrepreneur Jack Soifer to hold the public presentation of three of his books, which address THE FUTURE OF THE ALGARVE and topics such as entrepreneurship and business dynamics across various sectors. The event, which will be bilingual, will feature brief interventions from entrepreneurs from Northern Europe who will share their experiences.
Jack Soifer is Swedish, an investor, entrepreneur, and consultant. He has lived in Portugal for 30 years and knows the country well, having started investing in the 1980s. Throughout his professional journey, he has conducted 298 consultancies in Brazil, Angola, China, Russia, and the USA. Aiming to promote the export of Portuguese small and medium enterprises to Nordic importers, he has visited around 90 Portuguese industries. He has extensive experience in areas of great importance to Portugal, particularly in Tourism, Construction, Transport, and the Wine Sector, to which he has dedicated particular attention. He has served as a judge in the National Wine Competition and visited 98 wineries in the Algarve, promoting wine tourism and tastings. He was part of an international task force dedicated to Sustainable Tourism. He writes articles for national and international publications, sharing experiences and knowledge.
