Algarve Nature Fest From 25 to 27 September 2026 The Algarve Nature Fest returns from 25 to 27 September with free nature tourism activities for residents and visitors. For the first time, the event extends to the five municipalities that make up the Ria Formosa – Loulé, Faro, Olhão, Tavira and Vila Real de Santo António – with experiences showcasing the area's diverse landscapes, biodiversity, and natural and cultural richness of the most important wetland in the south of the country. Interpretive hikes, cycling tours, canoeing, birdwatching, boat trips, and many other activities invite exploration of the Ria Formosa in an active, sustainable manner, in direct contact with nature, in an event organised by the Algarve Tourism Region. The 25th is entirely dedicated to the school community of the five municipalities involved, while the 26th and 27th are open to the general public. Participation in activities is free, but registration is required. Check the full programme here.
