With a solid career spanning over two decades, Polly has received two nominations for "Best Jazz Vocalist" from the BBC and Jazz FM, and is often referred to by the esteemed magazine DownBeat as the female version of the iconic Gregory Porter.

Her journey also includes opening major tours in the UK for global legends such as George Benson and Gladys Knight, as well as three critically acclaimed albums recorded under the American label Resonance Records in Beverly Hills.

Her musical signature goes far beyond traditional Jazz, blending deep roots in Blues, Soul, Gospel, and Rhythm & Blues. This rich musical heritage can be heard in every melody, phrase, and note, always delivered with extraordinary passion and interpretative sublimity. Used to performing on the world's biggest stages, Polly Gibbons has taken her voice to the iconic Royal Albert Hall and the legendary Ronnie Scott's club in London. She has also crossed the Atlantic to New York, the birthplace of modern jazz, where she established a regular artistic residency at the legendary Birdland club, and is now a constant presence at major festivals across the United States, Canada (Montreal Jazz Festival), Europe, and Asia, where she has enchanted crowds, as seen at the prestigious Java Jazz Festival in Indonesia.

This edition of Algarve All Jazz '26 combines this impressive voice with the virtuosity of the Algarve Jazz Orchestra to create three memorable concerts in the cities of Loulé, Lagos, and Lagoa. This unmissable encounter marks another edition of a premium festival that continues to elevate the cultural standards of the Algarve region.

Free parking - The Cultural Centre of Lagos and the Municipal Library of Lagos offer free parking at the Frente Ribeirinha car park (Avenida dos Descobrimentos) for the audience of their shows/events. To receive this discount, users must present a stamp obtained at the ticket office of the Cultural Centre of Lagos or the entrance of the Municipal Library of Lagos. The offer applies only one hour before and up to one hour after each show/event.
