"Alameda das Artes" in downtown Portimão

The Municipality of Portimão promotes Sunday mornings with art in the city center.

Biweekly on Sunday mornings, from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM, the Municipality of Portimão will promote cultural dynamism in the urban space and encourage artistic creation, specifically in Praça da República, an area in the city center also known as Alameda.

Starting on April 12, this concept of an open-air arts space, named "Alameda das Artes", will offer artistic presentations ranging from painting and photography to sculpture and music, contributing to the appreciation and enjoyment of this square by residents and visitors.

The initiative is part of promoting cultural activities in public spaces, reinforcing the presence of art in the city and bringing together artists, the local community, and visitors.

After the launch of the initiative on the 12th, the next event will take place on April 26, requiring registration for participation, which can be done from Monday to Friday, between 9:00 AM and 1:00 PM or from 2:00 PM to 4:30 PM, on the 1st floor of the Municipal Market of Portimão, located on Avenida São João de Deus.
