"afpop expo" Returns to Portimão Arena

For 25 years, afpop, the largest association for foreigners in Portugal, has organised its annual fair.

This year, the event returns with a new name – afpop expo.

The largest annual event of afpop is back at Portimão Arena on October 3 and 4, with free entry.

All the incredible deals, discounts, promotions, and information that thousands of visitors have enjoyed over the decades will still be present, with new initiatives aimed at helping those who live, invest, or visit Portugal.

The afpop expo aims to directly reflect the work this non-profit association does daily. This means visitors will have access to companies offering discounts, special services, and promotions. They will also learn more about the local community through the presence of various social solidarity institutions and, importantly, obtain essential information about living in Portugal.

Visitors can speak directly with afpop team members about a wide range of topics, from renewing residency permits to where to go to pay taxes. Representatives from the GNR, PSP, and Firefighters will also be present to share important tips and information.

This year, the afpop expo will also welcome representatives from several Embassies and Consulates in Portugal, including those from the United Kingdom, Ireland, Germany, and the United States, giving visitors the chance to speak directly with those who can truly help.
