Training Action | Bike & Walk Friendly 02 September 2026 Do you have accommodation in the Algarve with good practices for welcoming cyclists and walkers? The Algarve Tourism Region is organising a training action for tourism enterprises operating in this segment, providing personalised free consultancy for the business, conducted by a company specialised in implementing and adapting bike & walk friendly projects. Registrations are open until 02 September. The training programme includes the following phases for participating units:
- General meeting, online format, for initial presentation of objectives and next steps
- Audit/consultancy visit to each unit, conducted by a specialist technician, for diagnosis and presentation of improvement solutions for the equipment and services provided by the unit in this segment
- Delivery of the visit report with the conclusions of the individual audit/consultancy
- Final meeting, in-person format, for presentation of results and overall conclusions about the existing regional offer in this segment Registrations for tourism enterprises in the Algarve are open until 02 September, through the completion of this form. This action is part of the CICLOSEND_SUR_DOS project, funded by the Interreg VA España-Portugal (POCTEP) programme.
