27th Monte Gordo Bay Race

The athletics event will start at 10:30 AM and will be entirely run on the beach, starting from the western area of Praia da Manta Rota and finishing at the first concession of the eastern area of Praia de Monte Gordo, with an intermediate finish line set up at Praia de Altura (Castro Marim).
Athletes born in 2006 or earlier, whether federated or recreational, can participate individually or collectively.
Registrations for this competition must be made by August 23, 2026, through the electronic platform of the Algarve Athletics Association (www.crono.aaalgarve.org).
The 27th Monte Gordo Bay Race is co-organized by the Pic-Nic Sports Group, the Vila Real de Santo António Municipal Chamber, and the Castro Marim Municipal Chamber, in collaboration with the Algarve Athletics Association and the National Maritime Authority.
