The Parish Council of Portimão organizes another edition of the Accordion Festival João César, which will take place on August 22 at 21:30, in the Alameda da Praça da República.
The event, which has been establishing itself in the regional and national musical scene, pays tribute to João César, a musician who left an important mark on Portimão's culture and the promotion of the accordion.
This year's edition once again brings together different generations and styles, featuring national and international musicians:

More than a night dedicated to the accordion, the festival keeps alive the memory and legacy of João César, simultaneously celebrating this instrument and the accordionists who continue to give it new sounds and expression.
