The celebrations of the 110th anniversary of the Freguesia de Portimão feature a highlight moment, a concert with Ricardo Ribeiro on July 11, starting at 10:00 PM, at Praça da República (Alameda).
The voice of Ricardo Ribeiro is one of the undeniable names of contemporary Fado.
With several gold records, six albums, and various awards, Ricardo Ribeiro has performed on stages all around the world.
In 2023, he releases "Terra Que Vale O Céu" on October 27, an album that marks Ricardo Ribeiro's return to Fado after a foray into world music in 2019 with "Respeitosa Mente". In 2025, Ricardo Ribeiro was part of the cast for the concert "Amália in America – Beyond Fado", a celebration dedicated to the life and legacy of Amália Rodrigues that took place at the prestigious Carnegie Hall in New York.
In 2026, Ricardo Ribeiro will release the highly anticipated album "A Alma Só Está Bem Onde Não Cabe".
