Painting and Sculpture Exhibition "In the World of Diversity"

When born with the sublime gifts of the Technique of Art and the Art of Technique, visions traverse the horizons of dreams always in search of the unprecedented.

In this mixed exhibition of artistic works, pieces in classic, surrealist, and unique styles (Raízismo, Dentilhismo, and Frames of Fantasy) are presented.

In the field of painting, oil, acrylic, dry pastel, watercolor, and other products are the swift values that enliven the messenger form of emotions, and in the field of sculpture, bold visions discover in stones rolled by the sea emotive images that are completed with dried plant leaves, offering unprecedented images.

Art knows no limits and extends into the emotional spaces of Life, which bring the sentimental satisfaction of those who navigate in form, color, and word.

Manuel Rodrigues Ribeiro was born on October 3, 1928, in Vila Velha de Ródão, having settled early in Amadora. Later, he established himself in Albufeira, where he developed his professional activity in the construction sector, in projects and site management.

At the same time, he stood out in the artistic and pedagogical field, having been a teacher and trainer for several years. In 1999, he collaborated in the creation of the University of Albufeira for the Elderly (UATI), where he taught drawing and painting for a decade.

He began his exhibition journey in 1972 at Palácio Foz in Lisbon, with innovative works made with felt-tip pens, later participating in various exhibitions at the national level. In 2007, he was invited by the Albufeira City Council to develop a pictorial set as part of the celebrations of the twinning with Ilha do Sal (Cape Verde).

In addition to painting and sculpture, he also dedicated himself to writing, with seven published works. Throughout his life, he balanced technical activity with artistic creation, being recognized and awarded in the fields of painting and poetry.
