On June 13, at 7:00 PM, the stage of the Auditório Carlos do Carmo, in Lagoa, will host the concert of the 🎼Portuguese Symphonic Band & Maat Saxophone Quartet🎶, and tickets are already on sale. With the spirit of Santo António, the Portuguese Symphonic Band and the Maat saxophone quartet come together at the Auditório Carlos do Carmo in Lagoa, with a varied program, ideal for an unforgettable late afternoon. The concert begins with the famous overture by Verdi, La Forza del Destino. And, as fate would have it, MAATWERK (made to measure), for saxophone quartet and symphonic band, by Johan de Meij, will be premiered in Portugal on this occasion. Following this will be the Gran Fantasía Española, by Ricardo Villa, adapted by Frank de Vuyst, evoking Iberian imaginings and characteristic sounds.
