The Municipal Library hosts the presentation of the book 'Maria – A Love Story that Defies the Impossible', by author Sandra Ramos, presented by João Nuno Aurélio Marcos.

Originally from the municipality of Lagoa and currently living in Switzerland, Sandra Ramos shares, for the first time, the true story of her daughter, Maria Inês — a journey marked by challenges, difficult decisions, and a love that never gave up. An intimate testimony about autism, experienced in the first person, that gives voice to many families.

This session aims to promote a love for reading, introduce new authors, and create a space for sharing and reflection, where the experience of writing intersects with open, plural, and inclusive debate.

A story born from pain, but that is, above all, a testimony of love and resilience.
