Tavira volta a afirmar-se como o grande palco da cultura mediterrânica ao acolher, de 03 a 06 de setembro, a XII Feira da Dieta Mediterrânica. Um evento de grande envergadura coordenado pelo Município de Tavira e promovido em estreita colaboração com uma Comissão Organizadora que integra diversas entidades regionais, públicas e privadas, cuja missão comum é valorizar, promover e salvaguardar a Dieta Mediterrânica como Património Cultural Imaterial da Humanidade da UNESCO, reforçando o papel de Tavira enquanto comunidade representativa de Portugal.
