Cookie Policy
Last updated: 2026-04-19
This Policy describes what cookies we use, what they do, and how you can manage your preferences. For details on personal data processing, see our Privacy Policy.
1. What are cookies
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a site. They let us remember preferences, keep you signed in, and collect anonymous usage information. At Algarve Atlas we also use equivalent technologies like localStorage.
2. Categories we use
We group cookies into three categories. You can enable or disable analytics and marketing at any time.
- Essential — Authentication (auth_token), language preference (NEXT_LOCALE), and consent state (ah_consent_v1). You can't sign in or navigate without them.
- Analytics — PostHog (product analytics) and Sentry (error monitoring). Help us understand how the platform is used and fix bugs. Only enabled after your consent.
- Marketing — We don't currently use any marketing cookies. If that changes, we will ask for fresh consent before enabling them.
3. Detailed list
Essential cookies are set by Algarve Atlas itself. Analytics cookies are set by PostHog and Sentry when enabled. No cookie persists beyond 12 months without renewed consent.
4. Manage preferences
You can change your cookie preferences at any time by clicking the button below. You can also block cookies directly in your browser — but this may affect how the platform works.
5. Contact
For questions about cookies, contact privacy@algarveatlas.com.
