A Guia celebra as suas festas tradicionais nos dias 29 e 30 de agosto, com um programa que alia as celebrações religiosas à animação musical e gastronómica. No Polidesportivo da Guia, a partir das 19h00, há tasquinhas, doçaria e gastronomia tradicional e os concertos de Emanuel & Tânia, Bonga, no dia 29, e de Humberto Silva e Ruth Marlene, no dia 30. As festividades terminam com um espetáculo de fogo de artifício. O programa religioso inclui, no dia 29 de agosto, Missa e Procissão das Velas, às 20h30, na Capela da Nossa Senhora da Guia, e, no dia 30 de agosto, Missa e Procissão Solene, às 18h00, com partida da Igreja Matriz e sermão ao recolher na Capela da Nossa Senhora da Guia.
