O evento é uma homenagem à água, onde se pretende invocar este recurso e deixar o apelo à sua preservação.
A água corre nas veias da Serra de Monchique. Aqui, na montanha sagrada, água é também alimento para a vida do homem e deste ecossistema tão especial. Aqui, onde as frescuras das ribeiras elevam também este alimento à nossa alma e bem-estar. Fazemos deste festival uma caminhada para a sua contemplação e descoberta deste interior tão rico e também do interior de cada um de nós.
O festival contempla várias atividades, como caminhadas desportivas, caminhadas temáticas e culturais, atividades em família e infantis, workshops, ateliers, teatro, yoga, ou observação astronómica.
