O Festival de Música Manuel Teixeira Gomes é um evento promovido pela Associação Barlavento Ensemble, que terá lugar entre 03 de outubro e 11 de dezembro, com nove recitais de música de câmara, em vários equipamentos do Concelho.
A Associação Barlavento Ensemble, presidida pelo maestro portimonense Cristóvão Silva, refere que este festival é “o justo reconhecimento e gratidão por esta figura maior e ímpar da política e cultura portuguesa, o conterrâneo mais ilustre que a cidade de Portimão viu nascer”.
